Cultural Events

General Information


CIRU sponsors and hosts various types of Chinese cultural events (to get more information on CIRU's academic events, classes, and summer camps, please select the appropriate tab) yearly featuring various types of Chinese arts, and performance including traditional and modern performing arts from China and the local community. They include renowned Chinese Kunqu opera performers from Beijing, ethnic dancers from Guizhou, and modern performing artists from Jilin. CIRU also hosts a variety of cultural events highlighting Chinese arts (such as calligraphy, papercutting, and painting for the community) as well as movie nights that feature Chinese actors and history.
